So after all the hilarious photoshops in the last thread on wheels I had the powder coating done in the stock wheels. In white. The guy doing them called it the white ghost...

Details:
Stock wheels powder coated.
275 front with 13mm spacer
305 rear 10mm spacer.
Whiteline lowering springs.

I wanted something different then just black. Very happy with how this turned out. There seems to be so few Supras white on white that I could find so I was like I'm gonna do it.

Feels great, no issues at all. 275 on 9” rim is no issue and 305 is the max on a 10” rim. Car feels very planted. I had the same tires on my ADV1’s that I just took off That were basically the same size. Selling these wheels gonna post them in the for sale section.

I took these off for a couple reasons. With the 305’s in the rear and this offset there was a slight rub on really big bumps, really needed to do a 295 and that would be perfect. The front was 8.5” wide vs 9” that was my impatience and I really wanted something a bit more concave in the front, I think the rear looks amazing just wish the front has the same “dish” at the end of the day on a white car they seemed a little flat. These would be amazing on Red or Black or Blue With a 265 up front and a 295 out back would be totally sick.

do you mind sharing the color code you used on these?

I would go to the powder coated if it’s something you want to do and pick out something from their line. They are all a little different. White is really really tricky. I almost went with pure white but it seemed to bright so we did this one that was 1 shade under pure white but has this metal flake in it that kinda changes colors Depending on what light your in. Which in the sun is what the white on the car does has this bronze’y tint to it.

They look to be a bit warmer white than the car but in the light they closely match the car but in the dark they look a little bronze. Here’s some pics for reference.

They change so much with the light with the metal flake in them and what light is on them. Like I said really tough color to nail down. In the top pick they almost look to bronze‘y but in the bottom they look to white. On the car I feel the color works

The best might be getting them painted to match exactly, maybe? I don’t know man i really struggled with doing this LOL.

The slightly warmer tone in the white is driving me nuts. I’m pickin up another set of wheels locally and this time gonna have them exactly paint matched or just go glass black chrome. If you’re interested in these happy to make you a deal on them for what i paid to powder coat them…
