I'm not going to go deep into an AI discussion with someone as dumb as you (ironic you call others dummies). You're expecting perfect results from AI which makes this discussion pretty pointless since expectations won't be met. There are AI models that specifically do image generation, and every time a user requests something like a de-camo, they can provide feedback on what went good or bad, That is the training in and of itself.

I'm willing to bet you don't work in tech, and it shows.
My job is literally AI models and computing. You don't know what you think you know.

Edit: just gonna state for the record that reinforcement training still isn't going to un-camo a car that has no training data. But it will happily hallucinate something for you.

I too can make shit up on the interwebz

lets Edit this. This you? Such a high up figure in intel calling people dummies on the internet for using AI. Seems pretty unprofessional given your title and the company you work for.

You push AI so hard and then berate people online for using AI. Irony at its finest:

No, I take displeasure when people promote capabilities this technology does not have, and when people continue to lie about those capabilities. It leads to misunderstanding and mistrust for a technology that is actually quite useful, but does have limitations. Chief amongst them: the technology cannot generate an image of a vehicle it has not seen, has not trained on, and has no concept of. AI cannot "un-camo a car". It can generate an image. It can tell you it's a Celica. But it's not. It just wants to please you and deliver a best effort relative to the data that it is actually aware of.

I strongly believe that AI has an important role to play in the future of computing, but cloud services have especially over-promised what they can do. Combine that with individual users promising impossibilities, and it creates waves of people who expect too much or expect capabilities AI cannot deliver.

Buddy, the images that were generated in this thread are close enough for enthusiasts like myself. No one here is expecting pixel perfect rendering and we also understand that pre-production cars generally go through changes anyways.

Hurling insults to users (calling them dumb or insulting their critical thinking skills for using ChatGPT) while you're simultaneously being one of the most prominent faces of consumer AI marketing in the industry is RICH.

Are we just going to ignore that it looked shit even with the camo? Reminds me of an upscaled Yaris.

The red render looks pretty decent, imo it's way better than the one from Bestcar Japan.

Just my humble opinion, but I really don't care for that front end look!
Same, they just slap on a Camry front end but rest looks good to me.

Since we're on the topic of AI, this is what ChatGPT came up with.

Get your eyes checked bro. Not sure how you see any resemblance of the mighty ST205 in that abomination.
