TPMS sensors for winter wheels

Hi guys, getting ready to swap out my summer wheels for winter ones. I bought another set of OEM rims and winter tires. My question is will I have to reset or do anything after the summer wheels are off and the winter wheels are mounted? Of course, I will be using new TPMS sensors and was wondering if the car will just recognize the switch over.

Lots of threads with the same question posted. Personally, I haven't found information on one that 100% works. So, I'm waiting to mount my other set of wheels and tires.

I got some ebay TPMS sensors for my aftermarket wheels. I drove for a bit and it recognized them automatically. I assume OEM would do the same.

If it's not recognized immediately/within some time of driving, then it should be an easy re-program in idrive. My winter OE wheel+tire set up is at a shop right now being powder coated and then mounted/balanced. Will post an update once I get them.

Btw, what specs did you go with on the winter tire for your OE wheel? @TMC1313

I went with the Vredestein wintrac pro tires. They are the same size as the Michelin pilot super sports, just don't have the Y rating
FRONT = 255/35R19
BACK = 275/35R19.
I really don't plan on driving in snow at all, but they are more for peace of mind if I'm out and get caught in a snow squall or something. Also, they should be good on cold wet roads. They aren't rated the best, but not the worse either. I think they'll get the job done.
