Which G-Loc?
R12 front
R10 rear

G-Loc are just rebranded Carbotechs.
That’s consistent with what I have heard since the founders came from Carbotech. Very helpful customer service.

I run the same pads you run, and actually Homestead is also my home track. Are you on OEM rotors and how many have you gone through? Would you recommend upgrading the rotor?

I seem to go through the OEM rotors quickly with the DTC60's. Im wondering if I should upgrade to a better Rotor

how do you know you are going through the rotors? I use a brake rotor caliper and measure width in three different areas. (Also check for micro cracks, lip and overall feel on the braking)

Also you are driving above my skill. I’m just going from street tires to TW200 for the first time next month. I have gone through 1 set of front rotors (currently on the second one) with still a lot of life in it in total of 8 track weekends with about 450 laps.

there is a guy that drives this same track and holds the fastest time here in a Supra.
Let’s ask him: @FLtrackdays. And I can tell you he uses the OEM rotors. If the OEM rotors are good for him, for sure they are ok for us, mere mortals

Lots of good info. Thank you!

I instruct/coach with most clubs. My favorite track group presently is Chin. But many groups host excellent HPDE events all over.

Cheers,
Mike
was just with Chin at VIR. Yes, good group. Not as fast as some groups But nice and safety focused.

Wait I didn't even complain about SUVs in my last message, how do you know I don't like them?? 🤣
If you drove my SUV, you might find it rather enjoyable to drive. VAG makes a lovely twin-turbo V8 and the Porsche DNA shines through brilliantly.

1 hour happy hour run group at the end of the day.
Thanks. Thats more than NASA or FARA do here in Miami.

Here we have

3 20 min session per day with or without a happy hour that is usually 30 min

That seems a bit short. What are the event prices?

We had a group here in the NE that used to do 7 20 min sessions. haha. It was way too much and I would rarely do even 5 sessions, but you could for sure get your moneys worth. They have since dropped it to 4 sessions like most of the organizations here do.

NASA isn't cost effective for seat time. It's great for coaching though IME.

I concur with you. Buy the best pad & fluid and rust prone rotors from Rockauto.com
