European cars most likely go through the Panama canal to get to the west coast. And in reverse, say for China made consumer goods would go through Panama canal to get to the east coast.??? I am so confused, that would require them to either ship the car to Asia/ Japan and then go across the Pacific to a port in CA, or cross the Atlantic and go through Panama to go to the other side of the US....?
