Nice write up and great info, thanks for sharing and just in time as I piece together my power upgrades. Flex-fuel in on my list. Posi-taps don't bother me any, they've always worked fine in the past.

guys, I'm a noob with this flex fuel stuff. There's a 94 octane FF pump near my house that is significantly cheaper than even 87! Is it possible run this fuel with a locked ECU?

You can run E20 with the oem ECU. Most pump gasoline in the USA is E10.

so do I need any special kit to read the ethanol content or just pump and go? Thanks @razorlab . You're always so helpful. By the way, I'm loving the GT500 hood louver you recommended.

Sorry, I was mistaken, up to E25 can be used, see page from owners manual below.

I'm not sure what you mean by a 94 octane FF pump? Can you expand on that?

If you are lucky to have access to pre-mixed pumps, and they offer E20, then just pump and go. If not, and you just have an E85 pump, then you need to calculate the proper mix to get E20-E25. https://www.morepowertuning.com/emix

There are a bunch of mobile apps as well.

I have a zeitronix box that I’d be willing to sell. Don’t need it now that I’m PI

Appreciate the write up. Definitely used quite a few things along the way of my Innovate ethanol gauge install over the weekend.
