Waiting for it as well. I know we can easily get it through OBD2 but connecting my OBD2 port short circuits the entire car for some reason. I need a CAN solution.

For now, you can get it over OBD2 port if you really want it.

I do have access to all the BMW measurements now. I just need somebody to help me with figuring out what hardware supports BMW enhanced to get them over CAN/OBD2.

Thanks to @garudathree , It looks like we might have IAT over CAN.

@Gabe and @Hit_Apex, do you want to test this to make sure? My car is up on quickjacks currently.

If you want to try F, I believe this should work:

CAN ID 1017
((bytesToUIntLe(raw, 6, 1) - 48) * 9/5) + 32

After some trial and error this is what I got.

AAT 75F
IAT 80- 82F

IAT last value on the screen

android vs ios problem. only mx+ is MFi approved. cx would also be slower than mx+ for logging

Was able to get this done and did a test drive. Speed mph is way off. Not sure how to manipulate the formula.

edit: figured it out. Mph showing properly now. Had to add / 3.6 in equation.
