He's legit called him the other day to put a deposit down for the new manual. Unfortunately, they cannot sell to Floridians.. only people in their region

Still looking for a dealership selling at msrp here in Florida or any state willing to take my deposit.

You don't pay the sales tax of where you bought it, you pay the sales tax of where you will register it.

If you did pay sales tax from where you bought it, everyone would buy cars from Oregon, Alaska, Delaware, Montana, etc since there is no sales tax there.

For those in California, drive to Toyota of El Cajon in SD.

Got mine for MSRP, didn't even pay for add ons. Only $300 for yellow color.

Landers Toyota in little Rock got mine for msrp. I have bought several cars there. Pretty solid there from my experience. Worth a call if you are resorting to out of state searches.

Thats the catch isn't it? I just played with the configurator and at the end saw that the financing APR is at 8%... my credit union is offering 5.54% for 60 months.... I don't see how this is a good deal unless there is no early payoff penalty.

In SoCal I recommend Longo Toyota in El Monte(LA area) That’s where I got my 2022 GR86. Ask for Jimmy Phan. He’s the digital sales manager. They are tge largest Toyota dealer in the US. Their website says they don’t sell over MSRP. They’ll deliver for free, but they drive it to you.

Yea, I'd definitely pass on that too. The dealer makes a flat fee when doing financing so it's a big part of the margin to the shop. Ditto for extended warranties.

Usually the finance period with Toyota is 6 months then you can choose to refinance with another institution, at least in my experience.

Tried after reading this but unfortunately Longo isn't accepting any more orders for certain cars incl. supra, GR corolla and 86.
