I do think there is a benefit to this air duct. Not for additional power but for IATs strictly.
Agreed. I believe those in my situation - running bolt-ons with stock turbos - could see some benefits re: IATs when doing things like tracking the car, where heat soak sets in quickly. I plan on putting that hypothesis to the test!

Let us know what you get, I'm doing a separate test on the CSF Heat exchanger to see a difference in IATs

Did you ever get some results?

I did not! Still sitting in a box in my garage. I had to prioritize getting the seats and harnesses in over the winter, along with a few other minor items. I still plan on installing, it's just not that high of a priority given I will likely either just end up doing an intake manifold or popping out a headlight.

I have had mine on for a while now. Honestly can't tell a difference.

Yeah, that's kind of the reason I was hesitating. In theory it would work, and more than likely would provide some benefit on track, but I think I'd just rather spend the addition $4000 extra and get the intake manifold. ?

Interesting read cheers guys.

So really to conclude in theory good idea however in practice no real benefit?

Im just shocked, from what I can see, that there is minimal areas on the front bumper that guides air to the intake, or am I missing something?

I had planned to purchase this as it seemed a good idea to ram air in that direction, however it is a shame it isn't fully closed!

all input is really appreciated as I am new to the supra scene but now bmw ?

Wagner/Kotte also makes a duct similar to this, but will require minor cutting. The front bumper definitely needs to come off. Here's the video

Damn their solution is way better looking than Velossa and Verus. YouTube video was very insightful, great info.
