I did downpipes on my S55 M4 with the stock cat-back and it sounded amazing so I decided to try it out on the Supra. I chose the Wagner catted downpipe for it's cast turbine housing connection and it was one of the few I could confirm fit at the time. Honestly, I believe this is probably the best set-up you can do...catted with the stock cat-back. I have a catless downpipe on the car and it just sounds hollow and a bit too raspy for my taste. The power increase with the Stage 2 BM3 map and the downpipe is awesome too!

Nice video, the downpipe really opens up the car. The tune is a world of a difference over stock power. How does it fair against your M3/4? :)

How have you enjoyed the Wagner downpipe? Considering getting one from them. I love the sound of it. Not too much burbles yet deep sound. Most DP sound hollow and too raspy.

Not sure if you will get a response. The OP hasn’t been on here since Nov. 2019. I’ve noticed this with the early vids posted on here from people. They just suddenly disappeared.

Honestly, there isn't going to be a big performance/sound difference among catted downpipes. Catted and catless sound and perform differently, with catless being a lot louder/raspier and giving a little more HP gain (single digits). If you want catted, the question is whether you want one that throws a CEL or one that doesn't. After that, it's mainly a question of price.

Running Wagner 200CPSI catted DP on HKS exhaust, its fantastic. After having catless this is way better, catless smelt awful and was way too loud.

Aww dang, thanks.
I ran my wagner 200 cell DP without a tune for like 2 weeks, or maybe a little more. No CEL.
Now I'm tuned so I have no idea if I would ever gotten a CEL. ?

Hello,

New to this forum.
Let me share my experience with Wagner 200CPSI downpipe.
I´ve purchased it at Turbozentrum in germany

This happened, and communication with Turbozentrum due to the issue found with the DP.

When I removed the downpipe today from the car, (putting OEM back for service appointment at BMW) I notice that the catalytic core have started to separate from the walls, and due to this separation there is also some smaller areas of distortion in the honeycomb structure, noting major but assume I was just lucky catching this at an early stage before any major faliure occured.

Downpipe have been on the car for a year and aproximately 6000km with OEM software, so this must be some manufacturing/material error
.

Response in short from Turbozentrum, also in communication with Wagner:

No warranty can be claimed, must be either HP above stock (please note that wagner have introduced a note that catted 200CSPI downpipe cannot be used when car is tuned.) or pops and bang tune.
I declined this position, but Wagner remained non willing, and as well Turbozentrum pointing at Wagners position on my claim.

My car have not been software tuned, while this problem occured with the DP, but following hardware have been mounted to the car (wagner intake, Wagner DP, Milltek cat back exhaust)

Anyway, dont want to scare you guys running Wagner catted DP, but personally I would check the core so its not colapsing and block the flow for you as well, with all the major risks that come with that.
When listening around, I am not alone with this experience....

Now I have gutted the wagner DP and running catless until I get a new quality product for my car.

I will try add some pictures as well
