First time in my life drove my A90 in the rain since Iā€™m going to be cleaning her up anyway today. Nice.. this car does so well all round. Auto wipers worked perfectly too.

I think Iā€™m going to drive her one more tankful before hibernation. :D love this car.

Drove it all the way to Spa Francorchamps for the F1 GP and this is what the car looked like after leaving the "parking lot"

Sorry man, feel you. Moved from Belgium 25 Years ago. Loved all my rides there, but South Florida is the "best place for Me" Looking forward to go to F1 in Miami next year....
Might have a hurricane but it will be worth it.

Washed her, went for a night cruise, and got lucky enough to grab this photo at Pike Place:

What did you end up doing for the A91 stripes on the rear quarter? Is it a vinyl wrap or something purchased from a website? Looks good and I've been thinking about doing the same.

Spent the majority of the night last night detailing the car. Looks brand new again. Also just purchased some 000 Steel wool and some Metal polish to use on the exhaust tips, theres a lot of soot built up on there from all the "spirited driving" and being tuned xD.

Brasso works amazing without having to use steel wool if you can find some :)

Got my custom carbon fiber badges installed today. Not the thic wip ones but still very good. Had to use 3m for install. Got them off Etsy and the seller was very good to work with. Was a but trial and error to get it right but the seller kept constant communication and was very responsive.

Looks good! Do you have a Link for me? And another question how do you get them of? How is it looking underneath the stock emblems, are there pins under the stock ones or are they just glued?

Installed a few things:

Verus Turbo Heat Shield
Verus turbo resonator delete
AMS Wind Buffeting Kit (Gloss Black)

One of the wind deflectors isn't as flush as it could be, might see if I can remove it (heat gun + fishing line I guess?) and re-apply it with some new tape.

yes, link is: https://www.etsy.com/shop/CustomCarbonEmblems

I didnā€™t remove the badge. The place that did my wrap took them off but you can look at the above post with the link on the how to.

Installing the new badge is straight forward. Just used 3m tape and it holds very well. The custom badge is just flat (see version 1 below). It has 3m residue when I peeled it off.

I believe that's from the mud pit that was this weekend F1 race...

Steve
You're completely right! Here's a pic of the parking lot (it was where the campers are even though I wasn't camping). They initially wanted me to drive down that path you see on the left and I told them if I enter this area, I will never ever get out of it. So I parked in front of the toilets which was firmer ground and later got out by driving back the one-way rode and having someone stop cars from entering that road until I was out.. shitty on my end but anything else would have binned this car lol

Thanks to Loco38SUP's PSA, replaced the bleeder today..

IMG_Aug282021at53110PM.jpg
So the BMW world has been using the plastic on plastic bleeder screw for a long time. I have had to replace them in the past, but never prematurely. Basically once it was time to replace the expansion tank, you replaced the screw also. Or if you managed to damage one trying to bleed the system which was common.

I would be concerned with the titanium screw not expanding and sealing properly, but I missed Locos post on this. What happened? Screw failed early?
