First track day of the year. Aiming for four this year, but we’ll see. Hoping to upgrade my brake pads/fluid and tires before my next event. Might be able to get another track day on these stock tires but I’m ready to get rid of them.

Yeah I think I’ve reached my limit with the stocks. Feels like I’m being held back a bit.

I’ve been thinking either Cup 2’s, Nankang CR-S, or NT01. Depends on wheel setup, but I’m planning on having wheels & tires dedicated for the track.

Spent the day at chuckwalla yesterday. @djmad was that you out there!? If so, I saw you.

It was. I came up to you and asked how the car was performing.

Like you said, “Car was flying.” Especially, if you hit a sub 2 ?. I managed a 2:08, but striving for a sub 2 in November if I can get a proper setup.

ohh that was you! Didn’t know haha.

Tires will make a huge difference. Feel free to ride along with me next time or I can ride with you for some pointers.

Freshly detailed it this weekend! ? black is the best color when it’s clean and such a pain in the ass to keep it that way but it’s always so satisfying after a fresh detail. Too bad the weather fucked it up asap ?

~ Looks Great!

A secondary full time job indeed. Once they are spotless... you just want to admire it until you have to drive it and start over. ?

Well done.

That’s awesome ? man! Everyone is going to tell you what is best for the car or you (no one on here but in general ?). ½ the fun is trying out new ? adapting and learning what you’re feeling. It’ll be a big difference upgrading the tires, fluid and pads. Just be careful with the tires. Going from tread to no tread, can’t hear the car breaking away, which you probably already know. Seat time is best bang for the buck 4sho!

Full SPL all around + rear sway. So glad I finally got this done. The ride feels awesome and it's a big improvement in direct road feel at the steering wheel.

Edit: also got my Remnant GAMMA manifold back from powder coating.
Love my SPL parts as well. Not for everyone but what a difference it makes ?
