~ not sure why one would want to dropped down on the factory sized wheel unless you have a 2.0? auto crossing?
For me, it mostly came down to wanting more sidewall height - it looks so much better and *might* provide a marginally more forgiving ride. I'd probably even put on 17s haha. Square and easy rotation is just a bonus.

Not a Corvette.
Smaller wheels (rims) does not specifically mean smaller tires.

Take for example a 19 inch wheel with a 305/30 tire and compare that with an 18 inch wheel with a 275/35: the 18 inch wheel on a 275 will end up being bigger than the 19 inch wheel on a 305 by about 1/4 on an inch in diameter.
Just FYI your math is wrong. Your heart is in the right place though.

Let's take a Bridgestone RE71RS as an example.

305/30/19
Diameter: 26.3"

275/35/18
Diameter: 25.6"

The 19" tire is 0.7" larger in diameter and the ride height will be 0.35" higher.

Is this in Australia? AFAIK, that shade of Orange for the Supra only came out there! The Orange on the Mikan Blast 45th is much darker.
That's Australian Gold my friend and don't you fuckin' forget it. ?

PS: It's actually Silverstone Yellow, aka Nitro Yellow. M2 is Brooklyn Grey.
