Proper DME tunes SOOO much better. Anyone that states otherwise is selling something or hasn't experienced both.

I loved my JB4 Jesse tune when I had the JB4. Better than stock for sure. But that FEMTO unlock with MHD+?? Definitely as much as a step up from JB4 as JB4 is from stock. We're talking OTS MHD+. I'm sure I'll feel the same going from OTS to CES tune, but that will also include a new turbo.

Proving my point, I never mentioned anyone by name nor did I state anyone has stated JB4 is better. Just speaking truth, read my reply again. I pasted it below for your convenience.

You can install and have the car run without putting MHD on it.

Got the car up and running today. Fired right up! Onto the battery tender and I’ll flash MHD over tomorrow. Just need the damn weather to bring some rain and clean the salt off the roads around here.

It should flash in under a min with the 1st tune. One of the reasons I love MHD.

Installed the Velossa Tech ram air scoop and the low freq BMW horn ala this thread. The horn sounds SO MUCH better now.

I got the scoop in black so it’ll blend in, pics with the flash so you can see it, and without the flash to see what it really looks like to an outsider.

Does the Velossa Tech increase any intake noises?

I think all the documentation (and a lot of the information online) is maybe referring to non Femto installs? Mine took about the same amount of time. It doesn't help that the MHD documentation is outdated and largely incorrect.

You going to track her w/out an intake manifold & that new phat tune? Just curious & asking for a friend (cough cough) how the stock engine would do on track with the MDH stage 2 tune. Or say down in Southern FloRida tracking the summer with it? I’d be willing to upgrade to a thicker oil if that was the case ?
