The black Motorsport Hardware lug nuts are trash. Then paint comes off and they start to show all the rust.

Ebay with good reviews. Less than 1/3 the price of the Motorsports ones, and literally the same thing. Likely made in the same chinese factory. I've run multiple 6-8hr mountain cruises, driving aggressively, and not an issue. Zinc coated, zero rust, zero issues. Just make sure you're buying something made of good steel, and you'll be fine. Buy decent Steel lug nuts though. Not aluminum. This obviously isn't taking into account how awesome, yes expensive Titanium studs and lugs are!

so i just bought these but I'm looking for some gold lug nuts to replace the ones it comes with. I'm still learning about these lug bolts and nut sizes, but the bolts that I bought are m14 x 1.25 and I would assume that i would also need M14 x 1.25 lug nut size. but i seem to be having issues finding anything under M14 x 1.5 size. Am I miss-understanding something here?

FCP Euro still the way to go ? The lifetime guarantee is not a factor for me as I am in South Africa so shipping to / from all the time would be a costly exercise.

I just installed the Future Classics steel stud kit. The included nuts wouldn't thread on by hand all the way because there seems to be some mis-forming of the threads. I didn't want to ugga dugga them on and potentially ruin the threads on the stud, and I wanted some longer ones so I went with different nuts.

They installed nicely and look good, the double nut method of install got a bit tedious by the end, but it was effective. The included loc-tite was only enough to do about half of the studs, so make sure to have some extra on hand if you get them.
