What wing do I run on my Supra?

Previous owner of my car installed a street hunter wing. I'm curious to as if there's any quantitive data about it's effects. Is it actually hurting my lap times? Surely it provides some non-zero downforce.

Probably not hurting nor giving mesurable benefit either. Does it add more drag than df? Unknown, no1 tests coz no point for such wings. I say dont worry about it...

Df numbers r massive for dual elements but even then the price r very high, esp for DRS one.

Great downforce (as most dual element are) but I'm hesitant to add anything that doesn't come with a tested mounting solution, since our cars need special care due to the plastic hatch.

honestly this is where battle aero would come in perfect, if they sold just the mounts standalone with custom drilling so folks could use whatever multi-element they wanted.

The V1X wing is much better than the Spage unit.

It will make more downforce with less drag. We’ve done CFD testing of both on the car and it’s not really close. I’ll be switching to the V1X for next season and selling my Spage wing.

You're so caught up on the best data, it begs to ask the question....Do you even drive your car or do you just bench race with data?

Are you to the point in your racing career that you'll feel the difference between everything? Everyone is so caught up on numbers, the vast majority should just buy what they like and drive...

Nah i just look at it, it stays in the garage 24/7 (ok sometimes i use it to get sugar from store) and I walk around asking questions on forum with no purpouse :>

I'm in EU, getting spage or v1x is not cheap, easy nor fast for me so I rather be informed before i order sth (esp sth expensive stuff like aero) coz im not gona send it back nor sell it locally either, supra is not popular race platform here, every1 is in porsches or bmw.
And i learned my lesson to not buy coz "i like" or "looks nice" when it comes to track parts. Data is data.

I alrdy got aero, but may switch it up after 3 years for higher df setup soo....
