Updated spreadsheet with INGS (no data), and G-stream (questionably optimistic data). Notably G-stream was used on the Ford 302S factory racecar, but most of the links on forums (including a wind tunnel youtube video) are dead so there's no way to cross-validate this.

Updated with numbers for Adro widebody ATP1 (330 lbf @ 120mph) and racing division ATM3 (272 lbf @ 120mph, will update with supra-specific span when released)

I’m glad there are guys like you @i3igpete who interested in data more than looks.

IDK anything about aero yet, but i saw this on Ig, this guy made a DRS wing, and he sells for Supra.
Will it be functioning better than adro, verus etc…, Or the fixed wing is better in track ?

Every wing has exactly one angle that makes max downforce. That being said, active aero is almost never worth the squeeze except at the highest level.

Air brakes are primarily useful for endurance racing. Sprint racing you get more peak braking performance when the wing is at max downforce. To simplify the argument: in airbrake mode, drag force goes from medium to high (good), but downforce goes from high to low/none (bad). The bad outweighs the good unless you're trying to preserve brakes.

Club level folks might see a marginal effect from the DRS side, unless their ruleset already bans active aero (many do, unless its factory-installed).

So short answer isn’t for casual track days, it is like give and take benefits nothing in the middle.
