Isn't 32-33 on the high (edit: i meant low!) side for cars that weigh as much as ours?

This is from trackdays.ie, but also mirrors most of what i've come across online about this. Appreciate any advice you're willing to share about this, because i've been struggling while trying to get this right.

Not sure what that chart is from but myself and hundreds of others have found 32-33psi hot to be the sweet spot for most super 200tw tires on track for optimum grip.

I've been running around 35-36 hot and haven't been happy with how the car felt. Will try dropping pressures a bit

I don't experience any wheel hop and run 32 PSI. I also have a very different sticker in my car.

That is very interesting. What region are you located?

Interesting sticker. I’m in the U.S. and it only lists the pressure for the wheels on the car, and only lists 38 PSI, not a range. I’ll try dropping tire pressure when I have some time to cruise back roads.

ooooooo
cool
provides 2.0 and 3.0 wheel/tire sizes, two persons @ 32 psi, two persons & luggage @ 38 psi

and spare size.. although i've never seen a supra with a spare ?

for NA, 38 psi on door, 37 psi on iDrive

for super sports i found 35 to be the sweet spot, for PS4S 34

I got one from modern spare just so I didn't have to call for a tow in the event something happens. Got the whole kit and fits super nice in the back. Pretty much just leave it in there at all times

Most people in the United States have a hard time reading a simple one plot chart let alone a matrix full of numbers and icons.

That, and with the size of the average American, maybe they assumed the car will be loaded to the weight limit at all times anyway.

I wonder if the guys over at Magna Steyr accounted for our Big Mac, Dr. Pepper and Dunkin Donuts ingesting lifestyle with a hatch full of Costco purchases when they printed those PSI numbers on the door sill?

My sticker says 32 psi too....man i actually thought ours was 38 as well because i googled it instead of checking it myself (because i'm a bonehead) and yeah i guess most search results are from American sources
