I'm changing the oil at the end of the 1200 break in period. How do you reset the service monitor?

In order to reset it at that mileage you will need to use an OBD adapter and BimmerLink. The onboard computer will not allow you to reset it unless a certain percentage of either the mileage or length of time has been reached.

Shay did you bring your own oil? Chances are they just used a random 0w20 they had...(?). Dealer quick lube bays are like subcontracted staff.

You can bring you own oil in. They'll do it still.
