Thank you for the second comment @mwilkinson :D I was just going to add that as I wasn't sure if that's something positive :D haha. If car has good history outside of dealership and after my knowledge about how good Toyota service is... I would say "somebody loved their car, knew what they were doing, i trust it more" :D

ps. my car is booked for first service in 2 weeks, outside of the dealer network. Maybe in next 2 years they got better and I will take it there, so my warranty extends.

Update from me ref servicing.

My car is close approaching 40k (38k). Tomorrow I'm off to the Republic of Ireland for a family wedding and we are going across on the ferry from Fishguard. I wanted the car serviced before we went across.

With the previous horrors of Guildford Toyota damaging my car twice I had to decide whether to chance a Toyota dealer again of go independent.

Incidentally Guildford Toyota is now part of Group1, but were formerly Inchcape.

I decided to give Jemca Toyota at Bracknell a go.

I had:
40K service
Aircon service
4 wheel alignment

I dropped the car off last Sunday with them. Picked it up on Monday evening.
Everything went as you would expect; it was quite uneventful.

This makes me happy. They did what they needed to and didn't damage my car - bonus!

The whole experience was very professional.

Do I think they have any particular special skill in dealing with the GR Supra? No, but equally it didn't appear to cause them any issues.

I will use them going forward.

With regards to the cars wheel alignment, my tracking was way off on all wheels. I will definately be getting this done more frequently. The car handles so much better now.

See? Now why can't all dealerships (and businesses!) be like this? :dunno:

I take mine to Snows Toyota Southampton, servicing has been good and without issues, they even extent the warranty.
Took in for warranty issue too earlier this month and they resolved without any issues.

Unfortunately I couldn't buy from them, as they wouldn't take a penny off the list price. Ended up ordering from Jemca Reading for 2k less!
