When hooking up a float charger should I connect it to the posts in the engine bay or should I hook it up to the actual battery in the trunk.
Positive to to positive and ground to the chassis, not the terminal.

I will drive it on nice days and battery tender in between. We have quite a few nice days over the winter in Missouri but we have those extended snowy sub-zero spurts

Hook under the hood, as described in the owners manual. I leave the hood down, I don’t remember why I had it up in this photo.

you can’t close the hood with a charger on the -/+ posts, as the one goes up into the hood when it’s closed

you can lower the hood, just can’t secure it.

I know this is an old thread but with winter coming I thought I’d ask on here instead of opening a new thread. Are you all going to use fuel stabilizer while storing the vehicle and if so, what is a good one to use?

So let's say you live in the rustbelt but don't ever drive the car in the snow. Should you still rustproof?

What material is the supra inner/outer chassis made of? I know that the trunk is plastic. Also the hood is aluminum/ seems like the structs are also.

What kind of rustproofing method? IMO, rustproofing is not needed for cars nowadays. I rinse the underside of the cars driven on salty roads somewhat frequently; most of the times, rinsing was done at home when the car was still wet from driving.
