I've seen many people liking the M throttle blips feature that is on the Stage 3 map. Can anyone explain what it does exactly? Is it just more throttle applied during downshifts? What is the benefit of it?
I can see it blip throttle after/during the downshift depending on how strong the values are. Open up your sport guages and you can see this in real time… probably hear it too.

Didn't know even the tranny's had different firmwares between the years.
I didn’t knew this either until my friend with a 2020 Supra and my 2021 were flashed with a couple of minutes apart. His 2020 we could play with all the settings and my 2021 we couldn’t. The very next day Xhp came with a firmware update and all was fixed.

Honestly, and my opinion… it made the car way better than it was already. It mimics A dct. Way faster and the power between the shifts isn’t lost as before(no farts). My car has 602whp and 577tq

So I flashed my car yesterday, and I'm having some trouble trying to make the changes I wanted to make. I'm trying to adjust the shift points and either I'm not understanding the effects or it's not working correctly. Initially, I played around with some custom values but wasn't seeing the effects I expected. Then I started playing with the presets and again I can't seem to tell any difference. Going from Sportive+ to Relaxed+ in sport mode, my shift points seem to be the same. Is there some minimum thottle input needed to see these changes? I was testing with very light throttle just going from 0mph to 40mph and both seemed to shift at the same exact point, so I feel like I'm missing something.

There is a certain stretch of road that I drive often, travelling 40mph. In sport mode, the car shifts at 3k rpm, but at 40mph I'm sitting around 2800rpm and I feel like it sounds like I need to shift to 5th. Usually I just use manual mode and shift up to 5th, but I'd love to change the shift point so that it would do it on it's own in auto mode. Is this something I should be able to change? Really feel like I'm missing something stupid here, or I simply don't understand what this adjustment is meant to change.

So, you can pick it up from xHP for like 430, flash it yourself. With the shops they have to flash at the shop. Like Speed Industry you would have to drive there flash it and then you are good to go. BUT you don't have no adjustment capability yourself. Kinda sucks how xHP set it up. You can buy the license yourself for another 100, I think that's why Visconti cost 500. (unless they are including the dongle) instead of the 430 straight from xHP.

If you are one of those that are the set it and never mess with it, sure you want a stage 1, 2 or 3 and not going to change it, then going to a shop is the way to go. You don't have to buy a dongle, you don't have to worry about any issue flashing it yourself. A shop will do it for you. My dongle arrives today any minute now and I'll start testing this for Speed Industry.

Anyone testing custom launch control? I’m having trouble with some hash shifts 1->2 I lose traction momentarily after hitting 2nd during launch. I’m limiting torque to 550nm on both gears, then pulling back torque scaling after launch by about 10%.

it shifts into second, breaks traction and lurches forward, then hooks again. Anyone found a solution?

Buy decent tires.

My oversized P4s just don’t do the trick. I guess I could drop the pressure for digs.

Are you turning traction control off? Lurching forward after breaking traction sounds like traction control intervention?

Fatory LC uses the "traction mode" where it's optimized to only allow small tire slip when going straight

It does feel like it cuts power just to get the traction back.

I've only tried with Stage 2. But I've tried with and without "Use Stock Shiftmaps" and neither seemed to make any difference.

I should also note, this is on a 2021. I'd just like to figure out if my expectations are incorrect or if it's not working. Has anyone modified their shift points and able to share their experience?
