Anyone know if you can run xhp with a pure trans Stage 1?
I had no issues after breaking the transmission in. I was running using the Stage 2 tune.

Appreciate the feedback bro, at that rate i am gonna keep it stock, as I find the shift points pretty ok.

on a side note, do you get a shudder of the car if you shift gears while off throttle?

I get a very subtle shudder when I shift from 4th to 5th, being off throttle. Doesn’t happen in any other gears :/
How long have you been driving it after the install? This is normal until you put hundreds of miles on it. You've got to break it in with constant shifts. Best to be in stop and go traffic really. Also don't be in automatic mode until after you're done breaking in the transmission. (I was never in automatic mode anyways.) It just takes a while for it to relearn everything.

This is my normal mode settings with an AWE exhaust no other mods, 7th and 8th are only used above 65mph IIRC, the 50% is worth it. You can drive around in normal mode and you aren't hungry for power, but you aren't revving for no reason like in sport settings.
This is awesome thanks for taking the time to screenshot this. Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.

Almost a year now bro. I never noticed it, because it’s odd to shift gears off throttle, but I noticed it just last week.
Did break in by the book, first 500 only stop and go.
Got the fluid level checked too, seems fine ?

Honestly, and my opinion… it made the car way better than it was already. It mimics A dct. Way faster and the power between the shifts isn’t lost as before(no farts). My car has 602whp and 577tq
You are saying those upshift fuel cut offs with the XHP tune will make you loose boost between gear changes?

He is just making things up. The car doesn't dump boost between shifts pre or post XHP. Beauty of the auto trans. The shift "farts" are from retarding timing and if anything that makes the boost spike between shifts, not drop.

Because you didn’t understand what I was trying to say you assume I am making thing up, come on??

@AbdulN you don’t lose boost at all, it’s just after the Xhp tune the transmission changes so much quicker that the “farts” between gears are less obvious.

OH MY GOD XHP PAID FOR ITSELF AGAIN WITH THEIR NEW FEATURE

https://rbttuning.atlassian.net/wik...k][hardBreak][hardBreak]Standstill-Decoupling

Looks like in our cars, when you're in "normal" engine mode (even if you're in sport mode and turned the engine to normal), the transmission will go into neutral at "Standstill", except in my experience standstill is more like 1-2mph, so coming to a stop at a stoplight or creeping in parking spots I kept lurching, with the new xhp update there's a on / off setting, now the car behaves the same way in all modes. I'd buy XHP just for this feature.

Noticed you can't mess with the tune anymore while not connected with the vehicle. Before I would adjust some things I'd like to try and then flash it when I got to my car.

I don't have this problem, android pixel fold latest app update from play store

I open the app, select the car, select flash this car, edit settings as needed

Thanks, I saw it's passed the "flash this car" page. I was trying to just find it in the other settings. Been a while since I've touched tuned the TCU and the app is different than before, much sleeker though I like it.

Now to just mess with settings to make my car not break traction when shifting up gears. Any recomendations? My Botti tune is making 680wtrq instantly and is only triggering TC on upshifts.

Yea TBF they redid the whole app which threw me off but it seems to still have good UX so whatever.

As for your second question, I'm a stock power user but I highly recommend their wiki:
