I picked up some #10 x 2" stainless steel with black pan head on Amazon. The slightly longer screw fixed the issue with the spacers being a tad too tall.

Thanks for the link. When I saw the price I thought it was a lot (over $1/screw).

Then I realized that was Canadian/Toonie/Loonie/Dollars :p .

Much cheaper in Freedom Dollars ??... for reference:

I would like to see if there is a similar option with a hex head.

Just placed my order.. I emailed them back and forth a couple times. They said all hardware is now correct. Comes with #10 stainless screws and washers. Hoping they're black washers...

They are using correct hardware now, the washers under the SS screws are black and you can not see the spacers at all after everything is tight.

Do you have pics of the new hardware?

I just dropped off my car today for ppf or I could take a pic of the hardware installed. It's just a Phillips head #10 SS screw, black washer and non colored nylon spacer.

Ya, it's unpainted stainless. If you look at the wheel well you do notice them as they stand out against the all black. I'll probably paint mine eventually.

Thanks. I wonder if caps would be a better option as the paint wonā€™t last long.

on my X3MC mine are almost sand blasted silver after only 3000 miles

Finally installed these. I found these screws met a lot of resistance when I went to screw them in... I ended up putting in the stainless ones that were supplied with the kit, and they screwed in normally. I used the supplied stand-offs. I can see that slight gap that people talk about, but itā€™s so minimal it doesnā€™t bother me. Seeing the stainless screw heads does bug me a bit, but oh well.

Two thoughts...

1. The fact you guys are having to buy the product, then buy additional hardware is ridiculous...

2. For those who already installed, just spray paint the screw heads black after scuffing them with a 3M pad. That's what I used to do with STI mud flaps.

I know there's Tommy L Garage on bimmerpost who makes mud flaps for the f80 / f82. Wonder if he would be able to make some for the supra.

Yep. I think this is best. All the hardware supplied now is fine. I bought a couple extra longer stand offs, but didnā€™t even use them because the gap was minimal and nobody would ever notice.

You will have issues with the rear rubbing when running bigger tires. I am running 295/35 on the rear and had the top screw pop out yesterday. I will have to take the rear flaps off and see where it's rubbing and dremel it out... Now I also need to run to the hardware store to find a similar plastic spacers...
Did you ever found a similiar spacer?
