I put some spacers on and figured Iād do the ZL1 rock guards as well. I was super disappointed, flimsy plastic, wrong screws, bushings too long.
The factory screws have a very coarse thread. The ZL1s are not. The bushing is too long and barely gives you enough thread to work with.
Put one on, immediately removed it due to the cheap quality and threw them all away.
Overpriced junkā¦ in my opinion and experience of course.
Mine fit up fine.
Mine fit up fine. Wonder if they changed hardware. My biggest gripe was I was short hardware and they sent me more right away.I put some spacers on and figured Iād do the ZL1 rock guards as well. I was super disappointed, flimsy plastic, wrong screws, bushings too long.

One of my rears just cracked in the middleMy rear ones cracked at the lower screw mount location - both sides. It's still on, but kinda looks warped from the side. My 1-year warranty was up last month. Ugh. Oh, well. Just ordered a new rear set. I'll probably reinforce it with some wider washers.
I would say no. The fronts are held in by the plastic pins and the rears have limited space. Are these easily removable? I'd like to use them just for the winter months.
The same thing happened to mine and Iām looking for a set or I might just run without them idkOne of my rears just cracked in the middle
Especially sucks because I'm in Canada and FedEx charges more to collect duty on the shipment than ZL1 Addons sells them for. FedEx customs clearance fees are such a scam.
I bought a new set of rears after one of mine cracked. Before installing the new one, I epoxied a piece of the old one to the back in hopes of reinforcing it:The same thing happened to mine and Iām looking for a set or I might just run without them idk
Need to learn how to self clear. Saves quite a bit on brokerage fees and if you're lucky they will reassess the package sometimes I only end up paying one gst.One of my rears just cracked in the middle

They will do jack all and ignore your emails with bs excuses. They say they're file can't be changed. I wanted to get some that extended a bit further past the fenders. Said changes and alterations can't be made. How tight you tightening the screws. I've had mine for over a year and nothing so far.Mine cracked as well - same spots on the rear pieces - along the line where the mounting hole is. Has anyone contacted the seller to see if there is some sort of assistance since this seems to be a common issue? If not, I'll hit them up and see what they will do about them.
I did the same. They should have supplied black screws.I will add my feedback to the thread. The fronts went on fine but those plastic rivets needed some finessing to not fold them over while hammering them in.
The rears were easier than the front but I did need to remove the wheels. Iām running 295s and the clearance was too tight with the wheel on.
Also my OCD just couldnāt deal with the stainless screw heads. I sanded and painted them black with Toyota touch up paint.
