One of my buddies pointed that out. I had no clue an older GTR was within reach of a Supra price pointI'm already looking to trade up to a GTR

Sure it is. A 2009 GT-R that's 12 years old costs about the same. But, no warranty, you get the early transmission that broke rather often and is VERY expensive to replace, not to mention the brakes. You're in a 12 year old cabin with 12 year old tech so good luck looking for Apple car play and the like, and so on. And of course if you go newer, the price goes up, fast. One of my buddies pointed that out. I had no clue an older GTR was within reach of a Supra price point
Oh, you're right. I'm not looking for a mid-recession supercar that has who knows how many corners cut. I don't trust ANY car from 08-12. Source: I did automotive testing for 7 years lolSure it is. If I were to get one, I'd want the refreshed interior. Think that's 2017 and up.I'm actually looking in the 2014-2016 range. Adds about 10 to 15k but I'm OK with it
I've had a 2009, 2013 and 2017. I'd probably stay away from 2009s but the price of building the GR6 has come way down from 10 years ago or so. I'd go with at least a 2012 as they made major improvements all the way around. They also make a Tesla Model S big screen style MMI replacement that looks pretty nifty if you're looking to update the interior or Android Auto or Carplay.Sure it is. How'd you like the '17 interior vs the '13?I've had a 2009, 2013 and 2017. I'd probably stay away from 2009s but the price of building the GR6 has come way down from 10 years ago or so. CBA?Opt for the 17'. Just looks way better all around.
If you're looking for a track weapon. Go for a CBA. With the money saved, you could upgrade the brakes and possibly the tranny.
I'm a huge GTR guy but with how how many other options are out there now, I can't see myself in one. The car is outdated, slow, and heavy. Still a cool car but it's definitely seeing it's age (Is that a surprise though?).
I preferred the fixed paddles and button layout of the 09-16 models. 17 interior is definitely nicer though. How'd you like the '17 interior vs the '13?
CBA is 2009-2011CBA?
I'm assuming they all are. There's probably at least a 1000 owners waiting to spend serious money to tune a '21 lol.So is anyone working on unlocking the 2021's for tuning? I'm new here, thanks for having me
