Hi, so I don't have a Supra yet but recently they have been growing on me alot. The more I look at them, the more I like. Haha
I already have a 550whp Twin Turbo 370Z which is pretty damm fast. But I am getting tired of that platform due to a few reasons.
But if I sold it and went up for a Supra, what is the maximum i can make from a stock motor and how reliable would it be for weekend driving and occasional track days?
Who has done something like the Titan Motorsport $18K USD package here? How well has it been running and is it easy to purchase and get straight into?
What number down a 1/4 mile can you expect from such a package with good street tyres, e85 fuel?
Just trying to gauge if it will be a worthwhile upgrade for me, because a used Supra is still very expensive down here in Australia. I would only buy a used one which go for around $80-90K AUD here. I would need to add about $30K AUD after I sell my well built TT Z with all the fruit. Then add an extra $20-30K AUD on the Supra for mods, wheels, lip kit.
Or, would I better off keeping my Z and spending the extra $50K AUD on building the motor and trans for more power? Overall, I feel like the B58 platform is still going to be much more efficient and reliable than the Z in terms of maximum performance, I could be wrong though?
What are your guys thoughts?
