MIne is the same 06/06/2020 date. I thought these were locked. Does anyone with a 6-6-20 date on DME have an unlocked one?your on the bubble. A tuner can connect and know for sure.
Yeah I just found it interesting that theyāre claiming they can flash through OBD, from what I understand only bench flashing has been successful so far? There is a handful of tuners doing that method where they ship your ECU to like russia or somewhere in Europe, Most people are just waiting for an actual unlock to come out without shipping the ECU. Not worth the potential of losing the ECU imo
I figured, but instead of just having the tune written to the ECU these guys are getting them unlocked and tuning it themselves. Looks like they are shipping them out to get unlocked, not tuned.Theyāre sending theirs to Femtoevo just like everyone else.
Yeah this is what I was figuring but I was under the impression that Femtoevo was just bench flashing and it wasnāt an actual OBD unlock.Theyāre sending theirs to Femtoevo just like everyone else.
Hopefully we are getting closer!I figured, but instead of just having the tune written to the ECU these guys are getting them unlocked and tuning it themselves. Looks like they are shipping them out to get unlocked, not tuned.
It almost sounds like Femtoevo accomplished what Mission was trying to. Decided to reach out to Femtoevo to get a better understanding, according to them OBD flashing is possible after having them bench unlock the DME but you have to use their software to flash. Wonāt work with ecutek, mhd or bm3. So they figured out the method and locked up their IP, seemingly.Hopefully we are getting closer!
Mission still hasnāt said anything publicly since the last update and Femtoevo is the only option but via international shipping.
Wishing this post wonāt be flagged as misinformation.
