Anyone old enough to remember when white-putting a car was a thing? Everything painted white. Corvette even had an “arctic” version. https://images.app.goo.gl/Zc34wbJXczV6rPX87

Big in the 1980s.

Haha...yeah, I definitely remember that too...never liked the look though....The only white car I ever owned was a new Fiero GT back in 85...Ha!

And let's not bring up the rear hatch louvers which I am guilty of doing in the late 70's...

I actually like the fender emblems/sticker/badges. I'm just not a fan of the make badge, usually on one side of the rear in standard chrome. I usually de-badge those and leave the center logo.

I wish they made a specific Supra logo like the Corvette and the Nissan Z cars which have their own unique symbol, even on the steering wheel airbag.

Toyota's logo is quite bland though, especially on this car.

Lots of folks have ... #EmbraceTheM. And then add some retro logos on the front fender.

Damn I didn’t go that far, just bought an M license plate. I like the decal the 21s have on the brake pads or did you buy one for your 20? Think they’re like $15.

I was thinking of adding this as a preemption to parking lot conversations I have no interest in having.

Removed both the supra and GR badges from the rear of my turbulence grey 21 Supra today. Came off easily with hair dryer and fish line. Cleaned up the adhesive with 3M adhesive cleaner. Looks much cleaner on the back now. I just don't care for badges.
I’m thinking of in removing the Toyota emblem and leave the Supra alone.

Thank you so much for this! Made me laugh and will be quite useful. I will think of it and refer to it the next time I see someone (including the fucking major network evening news tickers) use "off of" rather than from. That will probably happen sometime in the next couple minutes since off of this and off of that has become an epidemic. It's one of my biggest (by alot) irritants.

When my Wife notices how much less frequently I shake my head and point out even highly-educated "journalists" incorrectly using this phrase, I will give you the credit. Except instead of saying I got this outstanding link off of zrk I will correctly state I got it FROM you. I see my sanity improving by alot in the near future!!!

That one bothers me quite a bit as well. I guess I should say "it bothers me alot". These days I just spend my evening news watching counting the number of casters and guests that start every sentence with "So..." - apparently that's the new "Uh/Um" - I wonder who they got that off of. ?

I was largely desensitized to grammar critiques growing up (parents were both English teachers). I remember constantly rolling my eyes at hearing "If he's mean, then why is he your friend?" in response to my question: "Can me and Mike go ride bikes?" Usually this was followed up with: "Your legs aren't broken so I'm sure you both can ride a bike... would you like permission to do so?"

Or commenting on the use of "goes" rather than "said" with: "If everyone already left, how are they still talking to each other?" and so many others....
