So we have a new 86? Slightly more powerful and heavier?
Hope all of that is inaccurate.

I figured youād come and say.. donāt believe that... but you seem to agree with what Guff as heard.Bad news, looks like Toyota USA may have pulled another we want everything under the sun on this car (c. A80) ...
Just confirmed again, car as tested is indeed 3050lbs without all the bloat ware. Good luck Europe and Australia.
I am very disappointed if true.
But 65k car with 335hp weighing 3300lbs sounds worse than shooting yourself on the foot. Iām sure someone at Toyota USA mgmt has some sort of brains.I asked a source close to Tada about it and he was like, well, Toyota USA may have had their way with the car.
This is something I mentioned a long time ago as an internal issue Tada was fighting to prevent, and maybe he didn't end up winning...
There's still a chance this isn't true or that things could change, but I'm not holding my breath as is sounds plausible given previous comments US management made about wanting a very expensive halo car (FT-1 at the time).
Your mouth to Godās ears..I'm getting some chatter back from other US sources saying they are unaware of this source or any official spec sheet, so now I'm super confused.
Might be a disinformation campaign to knock hype down until close to release.
It pains me to say this but if this info is indeed correct it looks like Iāll be buying a C7 instead
