Switching to Manual from Auto version?

It does add some enjoyment that way. I think the manual crowd likes having a third pedal to get the real experience.

Just got my Supra 3.0 prem and the ZF transmission is incredible! I also have a manual ND MX5. I wouldn’t change a thing. Hats off to Toyota and BMW for giving us the best of both worlds.

I currently have a mk7 gti with the dual clutch transmission and I pretty much drive it in manual mode all the time. I was fine with that as a replacement for a manual for a while but now I'm really missing having an actual manual after a couple of years of not having one. That is especially true after I drove my friends new GR86 about a month back.

I would say instead of trading the Supra maybe just add or trade another vehicle for a GR86 or 400z. They are all great in their own ways.

That’s a good idea. I mean my 3 ‘driving’ cars are MT.. my Supra is mainly garage queen to decorate my garage.

Thats what I am doing. Currently waiting for my GR86 to come stateside.... I have 2 other manual trans vehicles right now anyways.

Anybody know how much hp and torque the zf8 auto in the Supra can handle without issue?
