You'll run real lean. If you absolutely cannot siphon it, STAY OUT OF BOOST.
Unless it's a 2020, then when your engine goes boom give me a call :)

I would pull the fuel line in the engine bay and drain enough to get you back in the safe zone. Running lean under load = engine damage.

In our Supra manual it says the system can handle up to e25 which is a mixture of 11.2 gallons of 93 and 2.5 gallons of e85 since our tank is 13.7 gallons. I never go above 2.5 gallons of E even if I get a tune one day. I rather follow the BMW/Toyota engineers on this one

A lot of us run full E (even Ignite Red, or 90+ Ethanol), but you absolutely need way more fueling to do it.

All is well now. Pulled some out and put 91 in it. This is my first turbocharged car. Cleared the code. I now know just don’t take peoples word for things. It was a convo specifically stated fill all the way up with E85. This is a lessened learned and for future owners to follow on the site. I’ll continue to do my own research on what people recommend before jumping on the wagon.

I get that you need to upgrade parts to run full E but on the stock system I still wouldn't push it past what the manufacturer says. If shit goes boom folks is on their own.

Plenty of dudes safely running e50/e40 mixes with a slight tune (OTS or JB4). But for full E85 as @zrk mentioned you need port injection, and a tune obviously.

And LPFP. The factory LPFP cannot handle it.

Edit: Jesse texted me and said this isn't quite right, but it -will- degrade performance to push it. (pull timing, pull bosst, etc.). Don't push the stock fuel system. Upgrading it is easy.

No worries man. This is a great community with lots of support. Just ask before making changes and you won’t be steered wrong again ??

Here’s a useful calculator:

You’ll want to take into account the fact that e85 is rarely 85%, especially given differences between summer and winter blends, regional disparities, and differences between vendors. The “e85” I put in is right now about e72.

All the more reason for an E content sensor. I was trying to mix my own for a while and always ran hot slightly in my calculations just in case...

Yeah--- to put in guaranteed "good" E is expensive. The E I filled up with today is Ignite Orange- right outta the barrel. ~$7.50/gallon. Ignite Red is ~$12/gallon

Sooo since we are on the topic, would it be beneficial at all to put a couple gallons of e85 in a stock tuned car? And I mean literally couple, 2,two lol.

Also, what about pure race fuel? I am clueless to this type of stuff.
