Skip the pure. They are junk. While it may get you there there have been so many with issues trying to get there with the pures.

If you are really on a budget just slap a bottle on and you can run 9s aswell
I think my current plan future preps me for when I have the ECU fully unlocked on Ecutek but if there is a better turbo to be running what might you suggest? I don't want to introduce a significant amount of lag from a big turbo top mount system, but that also seems overkill on a smaller turbo for my goals. I'm not on a budget but I definitely don't want to overpay for something that isn't necessarily needed.

Homie isn't on a budget, he's only Femto unlocked.
I'm assuming my selection of turbos is limited due to my ECU being only FEMTO unlocked?

You could probably run AMS's kit. Uou're going to be limited by the wastegate boost control with a big turbo and external gate.

I might be missing something but all of the kits (alpha 6 & 8) detail pages say it's for the 2 port only. All of the images show 2 port even for the slightly more expensive packages. I think a big turbo isn't what I'm after since my goal is to introduce as little boost lag as possible while aiming for my 9 second / 650-700 whp goals. Is pure the only non top mount kit on the market for the 6 port?

Big Boost (garbage) and Evolution of Speed both make bottom mount kits (I have the EOS), but they're both big turbo. For stock frame, Pure 800 is really the best bet right now, Vargas is the other, but it's garbage too. Remnant performance is coming soon. Keep your eye out there.

You're right about AMS, I forgot they never actually released a 6 port.

I had a decently lengthy conversation with Remnant on the phone which is hopeful to have something by the end of the year released and tested for the 6 port assuming testing goes well. They said everything is ready except the mold is about halfway through the process. Should be interesting.

Are the pures really that bad for my application or is it people pushing them further than what I'm trying to do?

I had a decently lengthy conversation with Remnant on the phone which is hopeful to have something by the end of the year released and tested for the 6 port assuming testing goes well. They said everything is ready except the mold is about halfway through the process. Should be interesting.

I had a good conversation with Remnant as well. OP I would say it's worth it to wait and see if you're set on a stock frame setup. GTR are easy to find, you can always go down that road later.

Too late. ? I've already bought a clonable ECU so I could go Ecutek, port injection, pure 800, eos intake manifold, lpfp, and pure trans on an e85. Worst case I sell the pure or blow it up once I see some more stuff come from remnant. Sticking with the Supra for now!

Good thread I'm thinking of the eos pure ect as well so you know if the eos allows easy access to the oil filter?
