Updated without spoke decals and with new Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires. Same specs as my quoted post.

The 295 ExtremeContact Sport 02's have a more square sidewall profile whereas the 295 PSSs still looked a bit stretched. Sidewall comparison here.

(Center caps are back on now, but I pulled them off to perfectly align them all. OCD stuff.)

Looks great but that definitely doesn’t look like stock suspension. Lol Unless you hit the angles just right by taking the photos

It’s definitely stock haha, bigger tires fill the gap quite a bit. Gonna have the car up on quick jacks in a day or two, could take some pics then?

I forgot you have a higher offset than me so the tires will look more “Tucked” causing it look lower. Looks good tho.
Are you know scrubbing in the inner lower spring perch on the stock shock with a +34 wheel and 275 tire? My +25 and 275 tire in the front is very close to the perch

A 295/35 MPSS looked stretched?? Are you sure? MPSS run wide, much wider than Conti's. A 295 MPSS is close to a 305 is most other tire brands.

I have 295/35 MPSS on the rear of mine and they are not even close to stretched.

Yes, this is my experience:https://www.supramkv.com/threads/si...vs-continental-extremecontact-sport-02.16680/

I’m not saying they are uncomfortably stretched - they just weren’t as square as I anticipated. Another in my thread made the jump to continentals for the same reason.
That's just a side wall design difference and I get having a preference for one over another. I can assure you; they are not even close to stretched. You want to see stretched, look at an OEM MPSS on a 10.5" wheel. Now that's stretched.

Not gonna lie, 20s really seem to fill that wheel gap and keep that stock ride height.. can anyone explain why to not get 20s?

I don’t disagree. The 295 PSS did seem to provide adequate protection for the lip of the wheel, but to me, it still looked stretched.

  • Increased wheel/tire circumference
  • Decreased ride quality
  • Increased chance of damaging wheel on potholes (because you’ll likely be running less sidewall)
  • Increased ride height
  • More expensive 20” tires
  • More weight
