CPM Front member brace looks interesting

I'm looking at it to. Can't find reviews. What area is it exactly strengthening that the one in the engine bay isn't already strengthening.

Count me in on breaking the OEM one soon… I better not look there ?

That blue Cusco rear brace is on its way from Japan ??. It should be nice - for my use ??

Appreciate this thread @Timmy_Jones ✌?

I do have the Turner aluminum skid plate scheduled to be installed with my Ohlins next week.

Just figured it fits this thread and is a great price if any y’all interested or tend to tear ? up like me…

Save your money, that bar does absolutely nothing. It bolts to a bar on a boxed subframe. lol. Total snake oil.

Position indicated in red:

Well that's unfortunate.

Thoughts on the other piece that was mentioned, also by this company. Like the Cusco one minus a few parts.

are you guys going off roading or something? Not sure why this part is needed.
I scrap shit from time to time. Not intentional. My 2016 MX5 had it replaced, was sagging. My wife, son and daughter all swear it wasn’t them ?… I’m really thinking I’m going to keep this car a while. One less cringe to worry about if/when going over our massive rain gutters here in FL. And yes, we always “try” to go at an angle ?

No worries in the GTi. That thing is like an SUV ?

Do you still have the manual for the Cusco brace? Would you mind sending me some pics? Bought a used one with no manual.

It’s all Japanese with some low quality pictures, but it’s not difficult to install.

I read japanese. But I guess my main question is torque specs and is it all oem hardware being used?

Damn! I literally thought, “My luck this person can read Japanese.” If I can find mine I’ll take a picture of it. Pretty certain I used the OEM bolts and gave them a couple ugga duggas.

Not sure about the Supra but on some cars like the Focus RS Mk3 the std undertray doesn't survive winter driving and impacting even loose snow wrecks them. Common mod was an aluminium under tray for winter users.

I threw away the hex bolts the Cusco came with and used these instead:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08F79CQZX

Also, the torque spec for the 8 bolts on the flat part is 28nm or 21 ft-lbs and the 2 E14 bolts at the rear corners are 56nm or 41 ft-lbs.
