Are you the Kyle running the Spage wing? Also curious what angle were you running. What's the plan for the new splitter?
I was running a spage wing at super lap but had a verus wing when I a/b tested my diffuser. :)

Got another verus high df splitter is going on today

Good stuff. I’ll PM you at some point here or on IG or something to get your thoughts on the high df splitter paired with the Spage wing.

Debating going the Spage lip/splitter route or the high df splitter to pair with the Spage wing and prefer a neutral front/rear downforce for the car. Will be interested in your thoughts for sure.

I'm very interested in this information as well.

Throw me in w curious about the hi downforce splitter

have been wondering if Verus recommends increasing wing angle to meet and match

think tunnels on a splitter would throw me in Scca unlimited for time trials

cheap. Bought my whole Verus package used and likely would wait for one of these….used.

The high df Verus splitter pairs perfectly with the spage wing. You can run the wing without a ton of angle which is a lot more efficient. It feels very stable without getting a lot of understeer. Overall, the setup felt very balanced. Front downforce felt good.

The verus wing works fine with the high df splitter as well but it’s a bit less efficient. I was running the wing at 12 degrees or so which is going to result in a lot of detached airflow along the bottom which isn’t ideal. I also struggled a bit to dial it in but some minor suspension changes probably would’ve fixed that. More wing and I’d get more understeer through some corners and less angle the rear would get loose through other corners. Again, probably a setup issue but the spage wing just paired up better for whatever reason.

Another team member was running the Verus wing at about 15 degrees with the high df splitter. I think Jackie ran a bit less angle than me when he tested the setup but I think it was still out of the optimal efficiency range.

In terms Verus high df splitter vs spage, Verus has a lot of advantages. It’s off the shelf and can be replaced in a couple days for a lot less money. It’s very durable and easy to install. It produces a good amount of front df. The spage splitter almost definitely makes a bit more df but it cost much, much more and has about a 5-6 month lead time.

Will be worth it for some but for most the Verus high df splitter is the way to go. Both are awesome though and I’ll eventually have the spage one on my car :)

Dude… you coming to Miami/Homestead or Sebring anytime soon? COTA is still on my bucket list. Glad you’re having such a good run with the Supra! Do you have a build page?

Wanted to make it to FL to run all the tracks there before the season started but unfortunately my car wasn’t ready (still isn’t ?).

I’m trying to do 9 Gridlife events and maybe all 4 GTA events this year so it will be pretty hectic and won’t make it to FL until a bit later.

Probably will head down there and stay for a month at the end of the year or beginning of 2024. I’ve got family there still so it would be a good time.

Don’t have any build log for my car but maybe some day…

And yeah, COTA is a blast. Definitely make it out here sometime if you can. Just avoid the months unless you do the night event in July :)

I think you meant to say summer months. Amen to that. I don’t do that here either (anymore at least). In fact my last two track days are in sight until next October. You really have to have a dedicated track car and mega ambition to drive down here (or TX) in the summer for sure!

Hit me up when you do finally come to Sebring or Homestead. Would love to see your Supra in action ? ?

I probably didn’t need it but… it’ll be something else to look at when the car is jacked up.

Going to put my new Ohlins to the limit this weekend at Homestead. Way more wheel well space than the Eibach springs I had on before. Down as low as we could get her in the front with the OEM top hats on. Raised the rear a bit for a positive rake. Camber at -2.5 all around, thx to the SPL adjustable control arms.

Should be a fun weekend :)

Edit: nm on review of ohlins, just saw your other post.

On another note, has anyone ever tired Angelwings with your factory seats? I’m going to give them a try in addition to a seatbelt locker to cinch me in.
