~1 week after the install.
Car pulling to the right a little.
Alignment shop said still too early and needs to settle.
Going to do a steering recalibration, doubt it'll help.

What alignment specs is everyone running/using?

I’ve had this exact same thing. My race alignment shop is so hard to get into, he told me what to do over the phone until he could take me. And I’ll be damned. It worked! He said to rotate the front tires right to left (left to right, doesn’t matter). Night and day dude.

Now I’m back on my street tires and the problem is still gone. I need to go back in and get a spec alignment since I’m not tracking until October. Turn the camber back down. But she‘s driving straight as an arrow. Problem completely solved. I must have had uneven tire wear, being on a soft compound and not running enough negative camber up front.

Hope it’s something as simple as that Tsuki :)

For those still wondering, I can report the Euro spec springs do NOT rub in an autocross setting in the following configuration.

-Factory wheels
-255/35 front, 275/35 rear RE-71RS
-10mm front/13mm rear spacers
-Verus camber plates with 3 degrees front camber
-Eibach front sway bar in softest position

Just wondering if you needed any aftermarket front or rear control arms and/or end links (eg. SPL etc) to achieve this setup?

Planning to do a very similar setups as yours. Looking good and thanks for sharing the info!

I’d probably try this setup first without the lower arms. But I do have the US spec Eibach ProKits and Eibach front/rear sway bars. I’ll be running on 18s also. I’m worried about suspension travel on track days but it will only be quite occasional. Thanks again!

I didn’t have problems until I was driving over 100 mph consistently at turn one at Homestead. I really doubt autocross will cause the same problem. The area to check is the outer fender of your hood. Look for any tire marks. The plastic started to wear as well. That is what I should have done (looked for) and I would have figured out my problem way sooner.

Edit: I have a friend with the same problem, totally different setup/brand/on coilovers. Showed him the wear on his hood fender and his plastic guard is starting to wear as well. The front end of this Supra doesn’t need to be lowered as much as the other cars I’ve owned. If anyone is tracking. Food for thought

No rear bar. Not confident I’d be able to drop the subframe and I’m not a fan of paying someone else to instal my mods. I do this strictly for fun so not being prepped to the max allowed in SST doesn’t matter to me.

Installed the springs, pretty straightforward with the right tools, be sure to have pass through socket set, etorx socket set for the rear and spring compressors, waiting for springs to settle then off to alignment. Both front and rear bump stops were cut one donut.

Has anyone been able to confirm with Eibach if the US Springs now match the Euro Z4 ones? or if they changed the US ones at all?

On their website now if you search by Manual Supra, it shows that the springs are 0.9" Front and 0.8" Rear drop, but for the Auto it's 1.3" Front and 1.0" Rear.

The part numbers however, are exactly the same between Auto and Manual: E10-82-089-01-22

Is the difference in drop just due to the slightly different curb weights? Being in NA, I'd rather order directly from them if the springs are basically the same as the Euro ones now, but if not then I'll just bite the bullet and order the Euro Z4 ones off Ebay

If you’re going to use the Eibach USA springs in your GR Supra Manual, advertised drop will be different and modest compared to the Automatic.

GR Supra Automatic : 1.7” front & 1.2” rear
GR Supra Manual : 0.9” front & 0.8” rear
I asked Eibach. It’s probably the weight and suspension difference between the AT vs the MT Supra. Do you have the MT or AT?

I have the MT, I didn't think the slight weight difference would translate in to that much extra compression statically on the struts/springs which is why I was curious originally. If they're actually the exact same spring as the auto's then I'll probably just go with the Euro Z4's since I have a feeling the US Springs on the MT might settle lower than their advertised specs which is a bit too much for me
