Have to drop down to 18s? No 19 love?!
Yeah… my reason for dropping down to 18 square. Can rotate em, tons of tires available, and the dreaded word “cheaper” 😝

Last track day of the season I chucked my front right tire... again(stock 4s and alignment) out of the 4 big name shops that reside at UMC not a single one had 19's even remotely the size I needed for the front. Biggest reason I went to 18's, plus a tad lighter(mostly in my head).

Kumho v730’s are, imho, the best “budget” track tire. There are close to the super 200’s and only cost $179 each in 275/35/18.

Absolute bargain for the price/performance ratio.
I've been running these now for a couple track days and a car control clinic and I am very very impressed with the tires on track. I do wish they had a 295-35 or a 275-40 so they fit the 10.7" Titan-7s a little better, but the steering is so sharp and responsive now. They really like hot pressure of 32-34 lbs.

Still haven't decided if I'll stick with another set of the V730s or go to the 2023 CR-S in a 40 aspect ratio for the second half of the 2023 Season.

V730 is nice. ran on my race car and it performed very well. Q: is yours also wear out outside no matter how much camber you have?

I am noticing some wear on the outside of my rear tires that I attribute to the small amount of toe-in I'm running in the rear. Fronts seem to be wearing a little more evenly with zero toe and ~-3.2 degrees of static camber.

I'm going to pull the tires and wheels off so I can clean them, bleed my brakes, and inspect the car before my next HDPE. I was planning on rotating the tires, but I'll be sure to take a few pictures of the front wear vs. the rear.

probably had one more fun day on them. But they were feeling heat cycled out and were 1.5 sec off my pace

Can the Titans run 275/35-18s? Love my Maxxis Victra RC-1s

I really should try those sometime. Been on Maxxis so long. You guys running 40 or 35 sidewalls? With the extreme heat down here, I start at 30 psi cold and go down to 24 as the day goes on. Psi can swell up in the 40s quickly, if forgetting to bleed the air out. Track temps usually run 100-120F. Wouldn’t a 40 sidewall give even more (too much) flex?

Yes Sir. Currently running the V730s in 275/35-18 on some VERY dirty T-R10s.

I haven't run 40 AR tires yet on my 18s, but lots of seriously fast people are running the 275/40-18 CR-Ss on their Supras. Bryan and Jackie Ding are two good examples.

What’s the exact tire you’re running, size, brand? I’ll burn up what I got & see if I can get em for my Apex square 18s
