Me being one of the few BMW fan boys of the group, disagrees with that
BTW: It screams much less “BMW” than most of us thought. The way the single components are placed is far away from BMW.

What I just want to know is: How is the Multimedia Systems / Navigation look & feel? Is it all BMW with the same UI? Or BMW with Toyota UI? Since I know how the digital cockpit looks, I’m not sure.

Everyone thought I was crazy for saying it though lol. Yeah we can focus on individual elements and point out similiarities in parts with other BMWs but the big picture is far from BMW

The UI is a great question, Id think it would be a reskinned BMW interface to communicate with all their systems more effectively but who knows because Toyota also needs to completely understand the system to service it.

Since I am of the opinion that all dashboard UI's are clunky and hard to use (being a senior software engineer specializing in UI/UX I am hyper-critical of these things), I have no preference which system is used since I personally wont use it lol.

Do we have shots of the production steering wheel? There should be buttons on it.
Personally, I don't like touchscreens either, but I will say that BMW's infotainment is pretty nice.
Drove an M235i, and the touchscreen was great. I had few complaints.

“Unfortunately we don’t have those pics.” My fault - of course we have. But I wasn’t sure, if this is the production wheel.

But M235i with Touchscreen? As far as I know touchscreen came much later. New iDrive 7 has Touch, maybe last 5 and 7 series too.

Thanks to Kaahari. :)
Found something on the review videos.

So this should be production steering wheel.

Just looking at the overall layout, it's extremely similar to that of the BMW (e.g. shifter and the screen position). This is not to say they are exactly the same for obvious reasons, but you can't tell me that looking at the shifter alone, it doesn't scream BMW in it.

Not trying to argue over this point, because it doesn't matter, but for me personally, I really wish the new Supra disassociate itself from the BMW more.

For the record, I don't see this as an argument what so ever.

Like I mentioned earlier, individual elements scream BMW as seen in other models as a whole but the design isn't inherently BMW IMO.

Elements like the screen position aren't specific to BMW.

Lexus RX for example

Even Mazda 3's have this pattern of the screen on top of the vents.

Still not easy to see how polished it will be, but from the bits I can see. I like it.
Love the pic of the Supra chasing the Porsche too :)

S'nice. I like the steering wheel, if a bit plasticky.
Also, my apologies about the M235i thing. I mixed up two cars. The M235i was a year ago. I visited a Bimmer dealership and messed with the touchscreen of another couple of cars.

I think iDrive is one of the best infotainment systems out there. This would not be a negative. Toyota and Lexus are stuck in the past.
