Sport mode for the most part. I drop down to normal for highway traffic/cruising and once I get back into my neighborhood.

I use both. But the real question is, have you programed the car with Binnercode to use SPORT PLUS mode? That actually will give you 3 options to pick from instead of just the factory 2 alone. I find myself using all 3 depending on the traffic I am stuck it at the time of use.

i might be alone in this.. normal mode for majority of the time, maybe 90%? drove manual for a long time, so the sound of cruising automatics with exhausts are still a sort of turn-off for me.. at WOT, no issues, of course

I found my exhaust in ā€œnormalā€ to be unbelievably loud and droning bcuz itā€™s always in such a low gear. I was just blown away how different of a car it was. @BMW_GHOST_INSIDE I've heard sport plus doesnā€™t really do anything? I have bimmercode so I couldā€¦

Normal is clutch for the highway. Only time I use it is for long trips and I am always floored by the gas mileage.

I was just going to ask if unlocking sport plus would enable three modes to pick from. Thanks for pointing that out. I was hoping that would be the case.

I didn't Bimmercode Sport to be always on, but like 90% of the time I'm driving it is in sport mode. I really only have used normal mode when I know I'm going to be driving longer range and want the gas mileage.

The only reason I never drove in normal mode was the start/stop feature. Coding it to always be in sport to me was a blessingā€¦

Yeah, after the coding you will have NORMAL, INDIVIDUAL SPORT & SPORT PLUS modes.

sport plus provides no benefits. only a sensitive throttle and a twitchy transmission. XHP is the way for transmission tuning

Yeah, but it's a FREE mod if you already have Bimmercode. No extra cost for the tuning.

Coded to start in sport & always run it now - esp since the exhaust is quiet on the 23MT. Used to have to use normal pre 0700 when driving to work in the 2020 because I didn't wanna be that douche with the machine gun exhaust when everyone else is trying to sleep.
