Black/non color-matched mirrors probably indicates it's the track trim. Interesting...

@A70TTR if I’m remembering correctly, you mentioned there was a track trim right? Any info you can shed for us? Or @Guff

I'm assuming the guy is from the US. No mention of the 4 banger? @A70TTR does that mean they scrapped it for North America?

Also something I found from the comments section from "jerklopnik". I will take this with an extreme grain of salt. Not sure how much truth there is to this.

Immediately suspect for anyone saying they left stuff on white board.

Though a 52k supra sounding good

I just thought of something and I'd like your opinions. Wouldn't it be perfect if toyota offered a tougher version of the b58 and zf8, internals and drivetrain to support tons of torque. If we think about it, that's what the supra was all about, the underdog that can be riased up to 1000hp DIY style. What if Toyota decided to take a different route than Nissan and their 120k supercar. I mean maybe it's more suitable for the tuning comunity to be offered a 335hp car that can handle 700hp+ with some mods than it is to just give them an already super fast car straight from factory. The chassis of the MKV seems amazing, would you buy it for 65k if you knew it could be a GTR killer with a few k's of investment? Most people could finance it and yet people looking for rocketships would know that the potential numbers are there. Would cover both markets. If I was toyota that's definitly what I would do.

I still think they need to knock off another $5k off each trim with those numbers
I don't think its priced that bad. The base is like $8k less than the Cayman and $17k less than the Cayman S. The track almost $20k less than the Cayman GTS.

I think trim is independent from motor options. For example, you can get Mustangs with Ecoboost - Base, Ecoboost - Premium, GT - Base, and GT - Premium.

I get that, but I think its just odd that he didn't mention anything about the 4 banger.

Is the only difference between the track and base version just an extra 52hp? If so, I'll just get the base car and save $9k.
