YES, YES, YES! 1000 fucking times YES! And when you bring that to their attention you get, “ Oh, what is a forum for…”
Yep, 100%. So many posts asking things that can be found using search. Also, love the questions that are easily found by typing the exact same thing into Google search. The time it took to ask here and wait for SOMEONE ELSE, you could have gotten the answer by using Google YOURSELF. I really don't understand people. ?

There is one way to stop all the nonsense, have moderators that are very smart and borderline A-holes like @razorlab. Have them deal with all the repetitive shit by merging threads, deleting stuff, etc... I have seen it work on certain message boards, but boy do the masses that want to be spoon fed get mad... On a forum like this, I just accept the same thing gets asked every week, month, and year.

True and true. However I’ve been in a pinch and got fast answers from cool guys like y’all. Cases where the topic is a bit off or hard to find.

Some threads get upgraded over time. This last oil thread was the best I’ve seen. We’re all at different skill levels & goals for our cars. But we all love cars. Particularly this Supra. Hence I don’t mind seeing some of the same stuff and helping new peeps who have the same interest as me.

I second this. You can find info by searching older threads. Then, you feel like you have to read every post for the 57 pages to see where that data landed. After reading the 5 threads of 50 pages each you have consider the dates to figure out which was the most current data.

Sometimes it's best to start a new thread and start a fresh conversation with the latest developments. That way you don't have to read through every post that contains my "two weeks" jokes and gives me a new thread to troll.

Damn that’s a 3rd reason! Love your trolling amigo ?

Ok, 4th reason - when answering a what’s considered a stupid question, I learn more about my thought process and why I do something. Sometimes it’s different. Sometimes it’s not. Regardless, talking to new peeps who spent $60k to be in this hobby (Supra ain’t what you call mandatory transportation) is right where I want to be. I deal with pissed off people for a living. So this is really a nice escape/hobby for me ?

I’m hoping he’s back for good! After we’ve peppered up his entire build with a Razorlab tribute & questions ?‍♂. Him, Mimosa and Zrk have the most pages on their thread/build. That says a lot.

*(that’s my oil now too - I‘m stoked ?)*

I wonder how many miles I can keep that liquid gold in there ? It sure is holding up well. Love his payment method. Bryan - verbal - that’s good enough ?

That looks phenomenal. More motivation to get coilovers...
Not that I have to at all, but I am running 13mm spacers up front and 12mm out back. Only to bring the wheels out a bit as they are +40 offset.

I believe 13mm front will give OEM suspension the right amount of clearance?

I have my 15s I've been using for my track wheels. Interesting idea.

Ayeeee he's back!!

Question for you.... nah just kidding.

Good to see 5 track days on one oil change made zero difference. I'm a bit paranoid (prior subaru STI owner if that tells you anything) so I do mine every 2 events.

On another note, as others have said most people barely research anything, and the "Race Tracking Your Supra" Thread can be a bit unwieldy for those trying to find a specific answer for things.

I propose some of us more track-minded/research-minded folk put together a few data sheets/spreadsheets, etc and try to get a few threads stickied by the mods. I'd be happy to help spearhead it. I feel like if we can get even basic info stickied it would really help not only poor @razorlab here but the rest of the community. Thoughts?

Also sorry for hijacking your build thread ?
