Thanks for that info! I had the 610g on my honda, but seems like ~400g seem to be ideal on these cars. I've also gotten used to the shifter now so I'll listen to you all in regards to weight. The biggest improvement I notice was improved smoothness on the shifts from 1 -> 2 and 2->3. My shift knob is closer to 320g (.7 lb) and like @FuzzyRev85 mentioned I would be a bit concerned if the 725g of yours starts to numb away thing instead of allowing you to feel a crisp feedback.
Another thing to keep in mind is that with the addition of the adapter that you will need for that knob, you might end up needing a custom boot. It definitely looks like yours will be a bit taller than what most of us have installed and it's already a tough to get enough of the oem boot to make it look good. You could risk not being able move the lever throughout its full swing without the oem boot tugging on it.
I was planning on sewing a custom boot anyway since I've done that before. Didnt think about the height though so good catch. Ill take another look at the Raceseng stuff. It was just significantly more expensive.
