Low 2:xx is harder than you think
Need big slicks, power to get to 1:55. One of the best drivers I know has a Supra w 315 slicks, 800 turbo and all the aero, JRZ pro etc. he just went a 1:54 this fall. 1:48-1:50 is IMSA Times
1:55 is around 911 cup times. All w really good driver
The leaderboards don’t lie though, it shows where the clubsports are, same with the ZL1s

in '21 on VIR, Riley's Supra GT4s ran 1:55 and 2:00
same year at LRP, they ran 55.3 and 55.9

a stock power supra with aero and suspension on 200tw is 56.03

They def don’t lie about potential of a platform Plenty of club sports and ZL1 s way down the leaderboards too. At this level it is more about driver than the mods. On 275s and stock struts I am about max what the Supra at that level can do. Posted a 1:18.2 at summit main couple weeks ago. I look forward to mcs over the winter and then being able to run 295s on real suspension next season.

I believe the fastest IMSA time for a Supra is a 1:54.2

The fastest pro GT4 Lap at VIR was a Supra in SRO @ 1:52.5

Even with -3.7 camber my fronts look like this. I either need -4.5 camber or learn to drive.

Looks like you are overdriving. Do you just pound on the car lap after lap? Also, from what I can see in the photo, the tire might be oversized for the wheel width, which won't help either.

Those Federals aren't helping either. ;)

I do overdrive which is something I am actively trying to remedy. And I do pound on them lap after lap, no cooldowns.

As far as federals… their time came to an end

Looks like roll over to me.
So more camber and more pressure?

Maybe I pushed it a bit hard on outlaps when the tires were cold. I track with bunch of a-holes who try to execute late brake passing on the outlap with yellow flag out...driving my "you know what, F you" gauge to max. Though this does not happen all the time but last 5 set of my tires ranging from GT Radial to RT 660 to Cup2 to Federals on cars ranging from GR86, GRC and Supra all wore like this.

I am struggling to understand. My camber is only 2.7 and I drive as aggressively as anyone. My tires have always worn perfectly even. Maybe rotate once at 4/5 life of tires. have used goodyears, ao52, nankang. always start 27 cold and maintain 34/35 hot

When i push on cold track or tires i just push or drift more until up to temp and grip. Doesn;t destroy one edge?

size of tires and size of wheels?

It’s not rollover, totally wrong part of the tire.
Camber and pressures good. 100% over driving the tire too hot and probably terminal understeer.

I am gonna die from understeer got it :)

It does make sense though, those tires battled understeer right until last track day where oversteer became a problem.

I also go a bit hooligan when I know I am done with a tire, last few laps of last session turns in to car control clinic.

Is this also from Buttonwillow? That track is hard on tires as well.
