I'd actually be interested to see what the guys with upgraded HPFP, Injectors and LPFP are getting away with for boost. Not much difference E60 to E80 tuning wise.
I'll never run that high of boost since I track the car.

Ah, so you can install the PI setup, and not run it while you wait then?Crazy part. I have IP installed but not using it. Meaning 1050x injectors installed in my manni, wire harness, just no controller. Waiting on bm3's version of Reflex. I want to see how far I can push DI only until then.
You can install the Reflex, PI, E sensor whenever. The key piece of info is you need a tune to run PI or an upgraded turbo. The reflex wiring, PI and E sensor can be installed but not utilized until you are ready for a turbo upgrade and tune. Once you are tuned for PI Reflex, you have to utilize those tunes and keep PI functional. Meaning you can't just unplug the Reflex, unless you have a non PI reflex tune too, but most don't.

Just hacked into Spool's network with Hugh Jackman from Swordfsh and Dade aka Zero Cool aka Crash Override from Hackers. Looks like your injectors will be delivered in two weeks.I've also been waiting for my injectors from them...

Why do you prefer DI to PI?I didn't get that memo. I track my Supra in E45 on an aftermarket turbo. It's all in the tuning. This whole "everyone needs PI" BS is so boring.
A good amount of people using E50+ with DI upgrade on aftermarket turbos as well. The whole PI thing is needed to make power is so last year.
less hassle...Why do you prefer DI to PI?
Way less failure points is why I prefer it. I've had too many things go wrong on track on my cars and ones I have supported. The less to go wrong, the better in my book. +200whp ain't going to help at all if you get a DNF.less hassle...
no port controller, extra wiring, 6 more injectors to look after, the only upside is you gain some valve cleaning ability with the port injection and you can run straight E if you wanted to plus have pretty much unlimited headroom for fuel.
if your planning on making less than 700 or going faster than a 9 second 1/4 isn't in your future agenda than a DI system is more than enough to have a fun street/track car
First of all, please be careful when making posts like this. You know....Way less failure points is why I prefer it. I've had too many things go wrong on track on my cars and ones I have supported. The less to go wrong, the better in my book. +200whp ain't going to help at all if you get a DNF.
Any reliable figures I can get from a post I want to try and DI to fueling and make everything as clear as possible for the 2 routesWay less failure points is why I prefer it.
