For those with mkiv's, will you be selling yours to get a mkv?

This is true in my personal experience. I used to be a respectful driver behind the wheel of the STi and Evo, but then when I brought on the M3...things changed....I changed....and it will never be the same.
It's probably for the best that a lot of MKIV owners don't like the A90. Some people think MKIV owners are jerks, everybody knows that BMW drivers are jerks. So if you put an A80 owner behind the wheel of a BMW powered Supra... the arrogance waves alone would rip a hole in the fabric of space itself.
Can we all agree that nothing beats the arrogance of an AUDI owner??

Tada can't stand the majority of A80 owners. His overall opinion of them was that they were arrogant, but some things have happened now to where he's sick of them.

If you heard some of the insulting things they've said to him in person and via PM, it's disgusting.

(not all are bad, I was an A80 owner once too, but there has been a far more open minded and respectful reaction from A60/A70 folks)

Please please please, dont group all A80 owners together. Ive owned my A80 for almost 5 years now and im happy to see the revival of the car and after lurking on this forum ive come to understand alot of the decisions being made by Toyota as far as power plant and design of this car. Id have to say i wouldnt trade in my A80 for one as i have alot more work to do with this platform before i get tired of it (if i get tired of it), but i do hope the car succeeds, that would allow Toyota to green light the GRMN and maybe it would be more toyota developed.

Poor guy. I can see that and have seen a lot of shit talking on Toyota's social media. There are really a lot of upset car enthusiasts with the MKV. Things must have gone south during the unveiling. Before that, he mentioned that he got a lot of good feedback from A80's owners.

I've already raised my eyebrow many times with the FT-86 project back in 2007 so the MKV doesn't sting as bad. I'll admit, I'm disappointed with the MKV but I'm not going to go as far as to hate the guy.

He understands that like with anything there are good ones, but those experiences definitely change the overall perception. This wasn't just the US either, interestingly enough...

Either way, he wouldn't want me talking about it anyways. Negativity only breeds more negativity.

Of course, negative bias tends to brew more over positive but eventually the fire will die down and the car will create it's own path.

This car had very big shoes to fill. Only time will tell and hopefully this car will create it's own path.

I feel that new cockpit is too plain & not enough driver focused as compared to mine

I will never sell my MKIV for a MKV or any other cars...

It's more like a boxcar racing layout instead

The new Supra interior has grown on me a little, but it definitely lacks the whole driver focused like the MKIV does. That's just my opinion though

I love all the comparisons they are doing on the web now! If anything it's getting people excited about the car regardless if you like it or hate it
