Fat pig on track. Super soft. Rolly. Weight is an issue. Decent power. Sluggish shifting Prob nice cruising to the winery car. I’m sure popular at car shows. 100% not ready for track. Would take a lot of work to get average

brakes failed on this one. Not sure Nissan fault. I suspect his shop that upgraded brake pads and fluid did something
Unlike the Supra that can do a track day out of the box. Unfortunately, assumed as much. Makes sense why we see so little of them on track.

But at least it’s a “real” Nissan…. ?

In a world where 3rd party suppliers make all the components except the engine, subframe, and body panels - wtf does that even mean to the “loyalists”?

Not sure what argument people are trying to make with that either by saying it's a "real" Nissan.

Sure, the drivetrain is made in house so it has the same fuel starvation under high lateral forces, synchro issues causing gear grinding and brake fade under hard use that the 370Z, and 350Z had before it.

So, yay for the Purists I guess? They get a real Nissan that's having the same problems that they apparently haven't been able to figure out for 20 years, and are charging them a premium price for a retro throwback body on some old bones.

What a win ?

... aside from BMW making excellent inline V6 turbo engines,
LOL, inline V6?

But then I learned that I couldn't spec the car how I wanted one and place a factory order, so I was left looking for my spec at dealerships, but that proved pretty much impossible to find.
There are like 4 colors and only 1 or 2 options, how could you not find it?

Hopefully that translates into retaining value. I've heard the manual BMW M cars are not holding their value relative to the autos, especially xdrives.
Sad but true with the G8x series, especially if you (like me) buy one with a sunroof instead of the carbon fiber. Seems that most buyers want that extra horsepower that you get with the slushbox.

If you are looking at an older (F8x) series M car, the manuals bring more money because there was no power difference and no xDrive.

There were 9 exterior colors and 3 interior colors at the time. So not even considering options, color combos alone made it hard to find.

If you're referring to the Final Edition it's not much of a redesign just a spare bin car with a tune on it from what I've read. Also limited to 300 units and not coming to the US.

It'd just be marked up by dealers into the stratosphere anyway, so no big loss.
