Ya the Manuals are a whole different animal. So far like 2500 MTs have been made. They will be rare as can be when production is over
Just curious on where you found that number? Is that 2500 for all MT’s or specifically 3.0, 3.0 premium, a91?

Hopefully that translates into retaining value. I've heard the manual BMW M cars are not holding their value relative to the autos, especially xdrives.

I've seen 90k msrp G8Xs in the 60s.

You better have cash to burn if you are buying an S58 car new ?

Cars are most certainly not an investment, but I sure am glad we have a low production number car...

If u want an investment, maybe buy some index funds and buy and hold forever? At some point the gains may help u buy a new ride.

Ha, that's exactly what happened. I got pretty lucky with my investments over the past few years and decided to start filling my garage instead of spreadsheets.

Nothing wrong with hoping for a little more luck though, ya know?

Not sure the worldwide count but I estimate another ~1k MTs Outside of USA (edit: 208 AU MTs made so far)

The USA 2023 numbers are official at 47% MT (includes all USA A90s & A91s)
MT - 1216 Official
AT - 1436 Official

so far estimate for 2024 at 47% MT
MT - 575 through May
Auto - 648 through May

The limit of production does matter thats why I bouhht the Supra MT

Rarity does matter thats why I got the Supra MT
Wait, you’re saying rarity does matter? Unlike Corvettes…
Looks like you get it after all ?

On another note, I drove by a local Nissan dealer and saw two new Zs just chilling on the lot down by the curb. Pretty sure demand for those is meh
So right! I’ve seen discounts at our local dealers and markups on the Supras here. Buddy in Miami found a 2024 MT with the color combo he wants, in route in PA. Put his deposit down, Did the deal over the phone. No markup, paying for shipping. I did the same thing. People will go out of their way for these cars. The “new” Z, not so much….

They're here in the San Diego area, for sure. None seem to challenge Supras, of course, unless they are running with race rubber. ;)
I’d love to see the ”new” Z on the track. Still waiting ?

Fat pig on track. Super soft. Rolly. Weight is an issue. Decent power. Sluggish shifting Prob nice cruising to the winery car. I’m sure popular at car shows. 100% not ready for track. Would take a lot of work to get average

brakes failed on this one. Not sure Nissan fault. I suspect his shop that upgraded brake pads and fluid did something
