You can beat a model 3 stock 100-200 or 60-130 but it will neck and neck. Not from 0. However, get sticky tires semi slicks. Get a dp + e50 tune just like Nefarious said. easy gap. What mods do I need to beat a model 3 performance on the street lol. Like tires and all
Could you possibly explain reflex compatibility with bm3 vs mhd? I have heard that only MHD+ is reflex compatible but now bm3 has its own reflex kit and rom+. I know many people are tuned on ethanol with bm3. Is it just that with MHD its integrated into the ECU so you don't need the exact E blend?Yea if you already have ecutek and Reflex. There no point in trying to jump to BM3. Because BM3 doesn't support Reflex.
It you wanted to switch to something else for whatever reason. It's MHD since you wouldn't have to buy another complete controller for port control.
But you have ecutek, so you're fine there.
BM3 supports full flex fuel. Reflex is mainly for port injection (can also be used for ethanol reading), which MHD+ offers full DME interoperability with.Could you possibly explain reflex compatibility with bm3 vs mhd? I've gapped all kinds of teslas performance long range 3 or the y im on full exhaust and intake and ots map from bm3 but not from 0. as I said before 100-200 or 60-130.
Depends on your power goals. 550-600 on eth? Just upgrade the HPFP.Looking to see what my next upgrades should be. Currently just on dp and bm3. I’m thinking of doing the bm3 flex fuel kit next. I want to do a new turbo eventually, would I want to look into a LPFP and port upgrade?
Wow, that's a bit more aggressive than my power goals (am shooting for low/mid 500s). What other mods do you have that let you get there? It feels like I'm at a brick wall where the next couple of upgrades are going to be painfully expensive and I can't really decide what to prioritize (turbo, port injection, or intake manifold). I think an upgraded Turbo (Remnant or Pure) makes the most sense? Not sure about 91 octane with the Omega 65. But i made 580 whp on 94 octane.
I would like 750-850 eventually. Post trans upgrade. I’m looking at the remnant, daw or a pure900 turbo. But I’m just not sure the order of operations for going about it. If I get a bm3 flex fuel kit, will that work with a reflex motiv?Depends on your power goals. 550-600 on eth? Just upgrade the HPFP.
I'm guessing you meant if reflex motiv is integrated with bm3? Currently no, its not. Not sure where bm3 is on there rev 2 board and customROM v2. I am not the best person to ask about pi and motiv reflex so @razorlab you take this one. Flex Fuel kit is fine it has nothing to do with Pi. As for the rest of the upgrades first get dp which you already have. Flex Fuel kit, charge pipe (Remnant turbo kit has a charge pipe and intake), meth kit, and exhaust. If you're up for it do intake as well. Then do the turbo upgrade with the right tune should get you to mid 600s with E. Do the trans upgrade LPFP, and PI, intake manifold here would be nice as well for lower IAT's. that will get you mid 700's with E as well. Going further than 800+ I am not sure tbh. Oh and btw if you are going to be doing some drag pulls better get new axles on that type of power.I would like 750-850 eventually. Post trans upgrade. if your goal is 500's get a catless downpipe and e50 tune cheapest way to get 500. But seeing as you are stuck on 93. Go for full fbo exhaust catless down pipe dont go for catted intake(if you want one) charge pipe and turbo upgrade of your choice no need for port injection. Intake manifold is always helpful for lower IAT's so it is always preferable to have it. This should get you in the power range you want and even more with the right tune. 550-ish give or take.Wow, that's a bit more aggressive than my power goals (am shooting for low/mid 500s). I'm hard stuck on 93 due to lack of availability of high ethanol fuel in my area. Only notable parts in the current list are AA Downpipe. Non notable/performance impacting is MSTv2 & FTP Charge pipe.
I should have clarified. I know reflex motiv isn’t integrated with bm3 and they’re doing their own board. But there are kits that let you use reflex with bm3 right? That being said it looks like I’m better off just sticking with the flex fuel kit and waiting for bm3’s board to do port. I want to avoid running meth. So for now it seems doing the flex fuel is next, then turbo and eventually PI. Already have intake, exhaust as well.I'm guessing you meant if reflex motiv is integrated with bm3?
