I'll take a plug — looking for track coiloversSuper secret with constant plugging. LOL.
He meant exclusive and gated. Mainly because most people are idiots.Super secret with constant plugging. LOL.
literally all the fastest Supras independently have similar setups but this guy will continue to think that we’re all wrong ??your call, generally an inability to accept new views that are researched and tested is what will keep you from being an advanced driver. you can certainly improve your outside shoulder wear just by switching to a faster tire...by scrubbing less at the same speed, when you don't take full advantage of said tire.
I’ll be another to disagree. Tires will last a lot longer at -3 or more. You will also get more grip. One of my friends has a stock Supra with tires and camber plates. He can’t do anything else to his car or he gets bumped up a class. So yes, in that configuration, he is trying to be the fastest (in his class) and actually is.My point was an essentially stock car with just a tire change does not absolutely require -4° of camber to be successful. No one in that configuration is trying to be the "fastest".
Let's ignore the "fastest" thing for a second and take another step back. What @garudathree was stating is that the tires will wear better with more negative camber. Sure, more negative camber will help with grip and other things to make the car faster, but at the heart of his comment was trying to save the guy from destroying more tires prematurely. This little high horse circle jerk is cute and all, but conveniently and obtusely ignores the context.. Can also confirm this. Recently went from -3.5 to -4.2 and saw overall better wear from my v730s.Let's ignore the "fastest" thing for a second and take another step back. brother. So you're telling me I need moar? Im worried i'll end up with more premature early cording. Can also confirm this. Recently went from -3.5 to -4.2 and saw overall better wear from my v730s.
His specific tire likes more camber than others. Got to remember camber is dependent on a lot of different things.brother. So you're telling me I need moar? Im worried i'll end up with more premature early cording.

I thought the same. Wes, @decodeddiesel that used to be on here, told me I was overthinking - which doesn’t sound like me ?. Autoquest said the same thing. *(they even went as far as asking me if I was done screwing around with different tires brands, so they could stick to one alignment. Hahahaha….)* Guess I’d have to do a lot more straight line miles to see the inside cord. Both of em right so far. My outside still cords 1st even with more negative camber.brother. Please let us know your tire test as Nasa tt folks are waiting to see what tire group they will put this one in as well. Based on feedback from the track day tire team they indicated this is slower than the R7 but not by much. So that would be a pretty fast tire that you can also drive to track.
